I am responsible for the design and manufacturing of FReD. He started as my sketch and now is manufactured and sold to mountain bike enthusiasts around the world. I couldn’t have put such a great product together without the help of Danielle Palmstrom. Without her advice, guidance and great ideas FReD wouldn’t he as awesome as he is. She is a tool.

Just because the budget is low doesn’t mean the design can’t be good.
The challenge of designing a website for the product FReD was the education aspect. A product like this has never existed before, so the task of educating the consumer was key. Making the site speak in the first person gave an opportunity to really “get to know” FReD while offering multiple opportunities to order throughout the site.
